简 介
墨西哥持续出现多起绑架事务，在城市居民特别是富人家庭里发生发急。仅仅六天之内，已经有很多有钱人起头招聘保镳来庇护后代的平安。就在这样一个情况下，克雷塞作为退役的原CIA组成员来到墨西哥城加入了保镳的行列——他被一对产业家佳耦招聘来庇护他们九岁的女儿琵达。
克雷塞已经一度对生活损失期心，只是在朋友的先容下才找到了这份工作，而他自己又不是很感爱好——特别是作为一位小女孩儿的保镳，但抱着有工作做总比闲着强的心理他接管了招聘条约。在和小女孩刚起头的打仗中，克雷塞有些不喜好这个狂妄和三言两语对他提问的丫头，但没过量久，他顽强的外壳被小姑娘渐渐穿透，自己也完全敞开了心扉。当小姑娘被绑架的时辰，他的生活发生了改变，誓词要追杀一切相关的人。没有人可以阻止他……
这部影片是按照A.J.昆奈尔的同名小说改编的，1987年上映，由斯科特·格伦、乔·派西主演。这部电影是由那时赫赫著名的导演艾利·舒哈基(Elie Chouraqui)执导的。回溯那时的历史，2004年翻拍版的导演托尼·斯科特可以说是和1987版的电影擦身而过。那时，由于吸血鬼题材电影《血魔》(The Hunger)的成功，托尼·斯科特前往好莱坞追求成长，而且已经一度被制片人以为是《Man on Fire》导演的最好人选，但后出处于名望太小，还是换由艾利?舒哈基执导。
