简 介
1815年6月18日早晨，惠灵顿公爵所批示的军队，聚集在比利时一个名为滑铁卢的小镇营地里。连缀不竭的降雨带来了疾苦、湿润和严寒给兵士。可是这些兵士将会感激这场畴前夜就起头下的大雨，由于这场夏日暴雨不但拯救了很多人的生命，同时，也行将改写了全部欧洲的历史，就是在这儿──滑铁卢疆场。
滑铁卢这场战争，是以拿破仑为首的法国军队独力抵抗以奥天时、普鲁士、俄国、英国为首的同友邦。拿破仑是个自傲而又轻视仇敌的人。他从未和惠灵顿交锋过，他相信惠灵顿不会在滑铁卢停止顽强抵抗。他期望一次打击就能将惠灵顿赶下山脊，逼他後退。是以他底子没有推测会有一场大范围的战役。
战事一路头，法国好不轻易才击败英国的先锋，可是法军的气力已被削弱了泰半。当联军越接近法军，法军的士气越下降，军队也发生了纷扰。未几，法军被完全击败，这场战争只是打了一全日便竣事。
滑铁卢战争很特别，因爲它是少少数单凭一场战役就蠃得决议性成功的战争。在这之後，几近没有单凭一场战役就能决议全部战争终局的战争，但这场战争做到了。滑铁卢战争的成功使惠灵顿公爵成爲豪杰，遭到群众的热烈接待。而拿破仑的命运则是非常凄凉，他被放逐在大西洋圣赫伦岛。在那边，拿破仑度过了他的馀生，昔日那位自豪的天子，亦渐渐的消失在这个废墟中。
