简 介
由伊哥·奥森斯导演的本片，报告的是女配角珍妮基于对新婚丈夫的爱，来到历来没有一个白人女子涉足过的偏僻牧场。那时，西方社会还是一个大汉子主义的时代，不单黑人土着被轻视，白人女子也没有几多职位，所以珍妮在刚抵牧场时吃了很多的苦。但是越是艰难困苦的情况，越能发生顽强意志与斗志。
这段争取女权与女性职位的进程，是全片中表示最出色的地方。看完本片很轻易使人联想到由薛尼波勒导演的《阔别非洲》，两部电影同是按照女作家的典范名着改编。在拍摄方面，该片的大自然景观相当可取，带有一点美国西部片的味道，摄影配乐皆有水准，若能在节凑处置上爽利和精炼一点，当会让观众感应加倍满足。
