简 介
在很小的时辰，一场可怕的疾病夺走了少女海伦凯勒（帕蒂·杜克 Patty Duke 饰）的视力、听力和声音，让她坠入了无边无尽的孤独和黑暗当中，看到女儿失望疾苦的样子，海伦的怙恃力所不及。随着时候的推移，海伦渐渐长大，不幸的生活让她的性情变得乖张暴戾，如同一匹没法驯服的野马。
就在此时，一位名叫安妮（安妮·班克罗夫特 Anne Bancroft 饰）的家庭教师来到了海伦的身旁，虽然安妮并没有几多讲授经历，但她用自己的耐心和温柔一点点融化着海伦心里的坚冰，教她体味人世万物的滋味，平常爱和亲情的暖和。在安妮的教导之下，海伦终极走出了阴影，重新获得了生活的希望。
