简 介
1949年的日本帝都，社会分为两个贫富差异悬殊的阶级，富人把握特权。其中，出现出一个奥秘的变脸怪盗K-20，经常盗取敷裕阶级的珍奇宝贝。那日，他又声言要在财团千金羽柴叶子（松隆子 Takako Matsu 饰）的婚礼当天窃取某财团的名画《巴别塔》，令差人厅非常发急。叶子的未婚夫、探长明智小五郎（仲村亨 T?ru Nakamura 饰）如临大敌，高度防备。身怀特技的杂身手人远藤平吉（金城武 饰）阴错阳差卷入了这场盗画的诡计当中。由于被当做K-20，他锒铛入狱，后侥幸逃走，在老友源治的帮助下，栖居官方，专心研讨易容之术，预备伺机向谗谄自己的K-20复仇。叶子总是在把玩父亲临终前送给他的礼物，感觉里面隐藏玄机。后来，K-20再度出现预备掳走叶子，危机时辰远藤平吉恰好赶到，两人跟K-20及差人厅展开了周旋，逐步逼近了真相……
本片为江户川乱步的同名小说改编。
