◎简　　介
　　1974年4月某日凌晨3点左右，纽约长岛阿米蒂维勒区一幢三层别墅发生一起灭门惨案。雷安家的小儿子罗纳德趁着父母兄弟沉睡之时，用来福枪将他们一一射杀。事后罗纳德声称，当时自己的身体被人进入，身不由己犯下滔天大罪。虽然法庭最终为采纳他的辩辞，但关于这栋闹鬼别墅的传言却甚嚣尘上。                                    
                                一年后，事先毫不知情的鲁兹夫妇（James Brolin & Margot Kidder 饰）以极低的价格买下了雷安家的别墅。当他们搬进来不久，怪事便接二连三地发生了……                                    
                                本片根据真实事件改编。
