◎简　　介　

　　故事发生在19世纪中叶，居住在维多利亚东北部地域的居民们生活苦不胜言，奈徳凯利（希斯·莱杰 Heath Ledger 饰）也是其中的一份子。从小，奈德就见识过了法律者的昏庸和败北，在16岁那年，他由于莫须有的罪名被投放到了牢狱中，此次履历让奈德敏捷长大，成为了可以担当起家庭重任的牢靠存在。但是，安静的生活并没有保持多久，当一个差人诡计强横奈德的妹妹凯特（凯瑞·康顿 Kerry Condon 饰），被愤慨冲昏了脑筋的奈德狠狠揍了差人一顿。
