简　　介

　　本片按照三毛最初一部同名作品改编。日伪期间，女作家沈韶华（林青霞 饰）在报纸上连载她的自传体小说《白玉兰》，很多情节感同身受。某日，她接到了一位奥秘的读者来信。她对这个名叫章能才（秦汉 饰）的汉子布满了猎奇。终究，两人碰头，一见钟情。但是，由于章是汉奸，常有围人惹事，令韶华很是不安。此时，她的闺中好友月 凤（张曼玉 饰）因与男友（严浩 饰）负气，来找她倾吐。韶华一边劝戒，一边把爱人先容给她。三人一路出游，豪情很好。但是，见到日本甲士侮辱中国人，月凤顿觉章脸孔可憎。三人闹得不欢而散。尔后，时势动乱，日本投诚，国共开战，韶华的感情履历了加倍复杂的波涛……
