此续集则发生在五年后，吉儿在一所大学中担任心理辅导员之职，当年发生的惨事，仍深印在她心中。某日，大学生茱莉亚（Jill Schoelen）在当保姆时，发觉有人藏匿在她家中，她向警方求助却徒劳无功，於是她转向大学辅导老师吉儿求救，迫使吉儿又陷入当年恐怖的经历中。
