◎简 介
五个年轻人艾什（布鲁斯?坎贝尔 Bruce Campbell 饰）、雪莉（Ellen Sandweiss 埃伦?桑德维斯饰）等相约一路自驾游，他们预订了一座座落于深山里屋子作为田野落脚点，他们跋山涉水终究找到了这间小木屋。早晨，他们发现了这间屋子仆人留下来的一本封面吓人的怪僻的书和一部老式录音机。屋子仆人在录音留言里说他在研讨太古传播的丧礼和一些咒语，而那本怪僻的书名字就叫“灭亡之书”；按照书上说人死了实在只是连结就寝状态，并没有真正死去，经过咒语可以重新活过来。接着录音机里就播放了一段使人毛骨悚然的咒文。随后，可骇的工作起头连续发生。
