　　1956年导演阿伦?雷乃用摄影机率领观众重回奥斯维辛。昔时纳粹集合营的原址上已是一片平和美丽的田野风光。但是时候倒回到1933年纳粹党掌权之时，全部城市被阴霾覆盖——大片修建起来的集合营房排列整洁，大量犹太人被抓进集合营起头接管非人的熬煎和欺侮。这里对人种停止分级，在皮肤上纹上编号，在衣服上缝制品级的徽章。疾病，饥饿，劳役使集合营尸身遍地。1942年希莱姆到访，推行“破坏”政策，集合营难民进入加倍悲凉的际遇，被药品公司买下用作尝试。1945年，集合营人数倍增后已不胜负荷，成堆的尸身被推土机推入大坑埋葬......
