　　日志记录时候从1942年6月12日到1944年8月1日。在被纳粹占据的荷兰阿姆斯特丹，因犹太人遭到的迫害日渐严重 ，Otto Frank携一家隐藏在一个调味品生产工场的阁楼上。后又贩子Kraler和Miep，以及别的一家人Van Daan和牙医Dussel也来此处隐藏。几家人住在一路期待盟军束缚荷兰。从1942年到1944两年间，Anne Frank （米莉·佩金斯 Millie Perkins 饰）起头记日志。在这2年多的时候里，里面记录了她的感受，她的恐惧和隐藏职员间的关系。后因有人密告，纳粹兵士把隐藏在此的人统统送入了集合营，Frank一家除了Otto Frank没有逃离恶运。
